This free, in‑person infant‑feeding group in Threemilestone, near Truro, supports every family, every feeding experience and every stage.

If you’ve been struggling with infant feeding and still haven’t found the answers you need — whether it’s breastfeeding, bottle‑feeding, pumping etc. Or newborn behaviour related, like wind, colic or reflux — this group is well worth a visit.

The group is a drop‑in session, and I generally see families in arrival order, with gentle flexibility for babies who are very unsettled and can’t wait. If you have a time limit to your visit, please do let us know when you arrive.

You can Find us in Woodlands court on Threemilestone industrial estate. We are in Tree House – The first building on the right, with a free dedicated car park.

FAQ’s

  • Who Can attend? Anyone who is expecting a baby, or who has a baby/child and who has questions or would like support
  • Can I bring anyone with me? You are welcome to bring siblings and/or support with you in the form of a partner, friend or reltive – they do not need to be booked in. The space is a little limited, so we ask that you keep this in mind when possible. If your support is an adult male, it may be that we see you in a private space, depending on the wished of the group. We endeavour to make is a safespace for everyone.
  • Do I have to breastfeed infront of other people? No, we have more privateareas if you would feel more comfortable away from the group.
  • Is it accessible for prams and wheelchairs? Yes absolutely, and even better, there is free, dedicated parking right outside our door.
  • Is it really free? Yes, there is free parking, free hot drinks (and water) and the group is completely free to attend, as long as you have booked your spot to let us know you are coming.
  • Do I need to book? Yes, it is important that you book your space. We limit our numbers to give as much time to each family as possible. Thorough support takes time.
  • Can I come if I am not breastfeeding, or want to stop breastfeeding? Yes of course!
  • Can you support me if I am bottle feeding? Yes, absolutely – bottle feeding education is actually hugely important to me! There is a surprising amount that I can teach you about optimising bottle feeding and supporting your baby.
  • Can I attend if I have breastfeeding pain? Yes this group is a safe place to explore what might be causing your pain.
  • Can you help me with bottle refusal? Yes, whilst this can be a tricky thing to tackle, I have lots of tips and tricks that we can discuss to support your baby in becoming more accepting of a bottle, or exploring other options if more appropriate.
  • Can I attend if I am exclusively pumping? Yes! I can help you make sure that your pump fits correctly, and that you are using the right settings and timings for optimal milk removal. I can even give your pump a quick once over and check it’s suction power.
  • Do you offer support for tongue tie concerns? As an IBCLC I can perform a thorough oral assessment and note any patterns and signals that might indicate a restriction thatneeds further support. I am not a mdeical professional and therefore am not allowed to ‘diagnose’ or release a tie. But I can support you with oral exercises and positioning to ensure the best breastfeeding experience possible while you explore options.
  • Can I attend more than once? You can attend as many times as you need, and always for free,.
  • Do you provide notes? Sadly there is no time for documentation, but you are welcome to take notes if you would like. There is also a whatsapp service if you have questions outside of group hours. You can read more about that HERE
